About me
Globetrotter
Hi my name is Dustin Salvisberg, vintage 84, yes I know, one of the worst in champagne, ever...
Nevertheless, I was lucky to live in several countries (Saudi-Arabia, Sweden, France, USA, Switzerland) learning different languages. Adapting myself easily to different cultures, environments and companies brought me a lot of advantages to create new relations with interesting people who even became good friends.
I am currently working in the event industry and occasionally helping champagne brands to develop their visibility in Switzerland.
My passion for champagne...
... it all started in 2018, when I opened a bottle of Taittinger Comtes 2000. That was the bottle that just made me go WOW. I never thought that champagne could be so good and fresh after 18 years.
This was my turning point, I decided to read and learn all I could find about champagne and still, there is so much more to learn and discover. From 2018 to 2020 I had the chance to taste around 500 champagnes and meet many vignerons and chef de caves. For me the interactive tasting within a group and the exchange with the wine makers brings the most joyful moments.
Meet-up
There is always time for a bottle of champagne, so if you would like to meet and share one, just let me know, I usually never come empty handed. Otherwise I am all ears to help you to find the perfect bottle for your event or special moment in GER / FRA or ENG.
If you got older bottles in your cellar and don't know what to do with them, I am happy to have a look and offer a fair price!
